About: a founder reviewing the tools founders buy
44 marketing and sales tool reviews, priced from the slider up, by the person who pays for them.
A banker reviewing marketing software: the short version
I spent two decades in international banking — ABN AMRO, then Deutsche Bank, in operations and risk & control — and I now run six small sites myself. That means I am the target customer for every tool on this site: the founder who buys the CRM, sets up the email sequences, and finds out three months later what ‘unlimited contacts’ meant.
Marketing and sales software is priced on sliders, seats, sends and contact tiers, and the slider is where the money is. I read every one of them on the vendor’s page, on a stated date, and publish the rung where the price jumps.
What you will find here
- 44full reviews, canonical here
- 11guides and build blueprints
- 15free calculators
The atlas maps the cost traps across the whole niche, Price Watch logs dated price changes, and answers gives the worth-it / cost / catch per tool in three lines. Every number links to the page it was read on.
How I decide what to write
- Did I use it, or am I quoting someone? If I am quoting, the review says so.
- Where does the price bend? Contact tiers and send limits are the whole story in this category; I publish the exact threshold.
- What does it do badly? Every review names it. The vendor already wrote the flattering version.
- Is the affiliate link changing my verdict? It cannot: a verdict that recommends a tool I would not renew costs me the only thing this site runs on.
Three things I do not hide
- Money. Vendor links here are mostly affiliate links, so a sign-up can pay me a commission. Your price does not change, and neither does my verdict — the only asset this site has is that the verdicts are honest.
- Machines. Drafts, outlines and translations are made with AI (Claude and my own agent). Publishing is not: every piece is grounded in real use and my own numbers, and I edit every line before it goes out.
- Mistakes. Spot a wrong tier or a stale price? daniel@aibuildermarketplace.com. Confirmed errors are fixed inside 48 hours; each claim keeps a link to where it came from.
Who runs this, and how to reach me
