The Shopify listing shows four tiers, the vendor site six. Free: 500 storefront clicks a month and up to 5 video uploads, with every feature and AI product tagging unlocked; the vendor site labels it Trial, $0 forever. Basic is $19 a month, or $182 a year, for 10,000 clicks and 50 videos. Growth is $49 a month, or $470 a year, for 30,000 clicks and 150 videos with priority email support.

Pro is $79 a month, or $758 a year, for 75,000 clicks and 300 videos with priority email support. Two more tiers appear only on vy-reel.com: Scale at $129 a month for 150,000 clicks, 500 videos, advanced AI product tagging and priority in-app chat, and Enterprise at $199 a month for unlimited clicks and videos with dedicated support. Every paid tier starts with a 14-day free trial.

Annual billing saves 20%; the listing quotes it as a yearly figure, while the vendor's own billing note says annual plans are charged as monthly payments at the discount rather than as one upfront charge. All charges are in USD through Shopify's billing, every 30 days. Plans change — always verify the live price on their site.

The catch

Every tier is sized on storefront clicks a month — 500 free, 10,000 on Basic, 30,000 on Growth, 75,000 on Pro — alongside a cap on uploaded videos. Neither the Shopify listing nor the vendor's own pricing section says whether the reels stop, degrade or trigger a charge when a busy month crosses the line, and no overage rate is published. The better your videos work, the faster you use the allowance, so ask support what happens at the cap before a sale weekend answers the question for you.

The track record is three months long. The app launched on the Shopify App Store on 19 June 2026, and its seven reviews, all five stars, were written between 20 June and 23 July 2026, each after anything from about an hour to 21 days of use. Five of the seven reviewing stores are in Pakistan. A 5.0 from seven early reviews tells you the setup is quick; it does not tell you how the app behaves at 50,000 clicks a month or after a year of theme updates.

The two pricing pages do not match. The listing stops at Pro, $79 a month; the vendor's own site adds Scale at $129 and Enterprise at $199, and reserves its advanced AI tagging for those two. The attribution panel on the vendor's homepage ($48,210 attributed revenue, 3.1x ROAS on video) names no customer and reads as an illustration, not a reported result.

What VyReel does

Shopify app that turns Instagram and TikTok reels or your own UGC into shoppable carousels, stories, grids and a watch-and-buy viewer, with AI product tagging on every plan. Free for 500 clicks and 5 videos a month; Basic $19, Growth $49, Pro $79, metered on storefront clicks and uploads. Read 24 Sep 2026.

Price the clicks, not the videos

Work the ladder per thousand clicks, because that is the meter most stores reach first. Basic is $19 for 10,000 clicks, which is $1.90 per thousand. Growth is $49 for 30,000, about $1.63. Pro is $79 for 75,000, about $1.05. Scale, which only the vendor site lists, is $129 for 150,000, about 86 cents. The unit price falls at every step, so the only real question is how many clicks your reels generate.

The video caps rise more slowly than the click caps: 50, 150, 300 and 500. A store with a small library and a lot of traffic climbs because of clicks; a store with a large library and little traffic climbs because of uploads, and then pays for click headroom it never uses. Count both before you pick a tier. Annual billing takes 20% off: $182 a year for Basic instead of $228, $470 for Growth instead of $588, $758 for Pro instead of $948.

The vendor's billing note says the annual rate is charged monthly at the discount rather than up front, so the saving costs no cash-flow, but check the Shopify charge screen, because the listing presents the same plan as one yearly figure. The free tier is a genuine measuring window rather than a teaser: every feature and the AI tagging are on, and 500 clicks is enough to learn whether shoppers tap a reel at all before you spend $19.

How to actually use VyReel

Install from the Shopify App Store; the vendor says the app configures itself and places its widgets as theme app blocks, so there is no code to paste. Then bring in video: connect Instagram or TikTok by handle, or upload your own clips, and group them into collections. Tag products next. Once a reel has processed, the AI scans it, ranks the catalogue items it thinks appear by look and colour, and you accept a suggestion with one tap; reels you mark as featured build the product-page carousels automatically.

Finally place the formats: a carousel, stories, a grid, a floating embed on product pages and the fullscreen watch-and-buy viewer. Start on the free tier and keep it narrow: five videos on your three best-selling product pages, then read the per-reel clicks and add-to-cart rate the dashboard reports. A busy store may use 500 clicks quickly, and that is itself the first answer you need, because it means shoppers tap the reels.

Before you upgrade, email support@vy-reel.com and ask in writing what happens when a month's clicks run out; neither pricing page says.

Distilled from The Shopify App Store listing at apps.shopify.com/vyreel (pricing table, feature list, the seven reviews with their dates, countries and time in the app, the developer details and the launch date) and the vendor's own homepage at vy-reel.com, including its six-tier pricing section and its billing note, both read in a headless browser on 24 September 2026. vy-reel.com/faq and vy-reel.com/docs returned 404, so there is no public help centre to cite. We have not installed the app.

What it costs
Note that storista.io, the vendor's own domain, sells a different product on a different meter — AI-generated UGC video at roughly $1 to $4 a render, free to start with a $19 a month Pro plan — and not the widget ladder above.
The catch
The first thing to know is that the brand sells two different products, and the one you find by searching the name is not the one this link installs.
Best for
Shopify stores that already produce TikTok or Reels content and want it on the storefront as shoppable video, with the free tier's unlimited views making it cheap to test whether social video converts on your product pages at all

Both names above are affiliate links: we may earn a commission if you sign up, at no extra cost to you. Neither changes what this table says: both columns come straight from the vendors’ own pricing pages.

The natural comparison is Storista — Storista is the closest comparison in our own dossiers, and it meters the other way round. Storista (read 23 August 2026) counts videos and leaves views unlimited: 10 videos free, 50 for $15 a month, unlimited for $49, with its AI Smart Tagging only from that $49 tier. VyReel counts storefront clicks and videos together: 5 videos and 500 clicks free, 50 videos and 10,000 clicks for $19, and AI product tagging on every tier including the free one. So a store that wants automatic tagging on a small library pays less here, while a store with heavy traffic on a modest library is safer on Storista, whose views are never metered. Storista also carries Shopify's Built for Shopify badge and has been listed since 2021; VyReel's listing, launched in June 2026, carries no badge yet..

Frequently asked questions

What does VyReel cost?

Free for 500 storefront clicks and 5 videos a month, with every feature on. Basic is $19 a month for 10,000 clicks and 50 videos, Growth $49 for 30,000 and 150, Pro $79 for 75,000 and 300. The vendor's own site lists two more tiers the Shopify listing does not: Scale at $129 and Enterprise at $199. Annual billing takes 20% off, and every paid tier has a 14-day free trial. Read on 24 September 2026.

What happens when I run out of clicks?

Neither the Shopify listing nor vy-reel.com says, and no overage rate is published. Whether the reels stop showing, keep running or trigger an upgrade is the one question to put to support@vy-reel.com in writing before you rely on the app for a sale.

Is AI product tagging on the free plan?

Yes. Both pricing pages list AI product tagging on every tier, the free one included; only the advanced tagging on the vendor-site-only Scale and Enterprise tiers is gated. That is the clearest difference from Storista, which puts its AI tagging on the $49 tier.

What should I weigh before buying E-commerce software?

Check your platform and version specifically. Shopify support is close to universal in this category, while WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Magento and headless setups vary a lot, and 'supported' sometimes means a generic API rather than a maintained app. A listing in your own platform's app store, with recent reviews there, is a better signal than the vendor's logo wall.
