Fast BundleFast Bundle Review (2026)Priced on Your Bundle Sales

Growth & RevenueResearched assessment · by Daniel HaketUpdated 2026-09-01

The most important thing about this app is not on its App Store listing.

Best for: Shopify merchants who want every bundle and upsell format from one app — mix-and-match, build-your-own, BOGO, volume breaks, AI frequently-bought-together — priced against what those offers actually earn rather than a flat fee, and who are comfortable with an app that Shopify delisted for two weeks in July 2026 and then restored.

The meter here is not your catalogue, your traffic or your seats — it is the revenue your bundles themselves generate. The listing is free to install and shows four tiers. Development stores are free to install and free to run. Standard (1K) is $19 a month or $180 a year and covers up to $1,000 of monthly bundle sales. Standard (3K) is $49 a month or $468 a year for up to $3,000.

Standard (10K) is $139 a month or $1,380 a year for up to $10,000. All three paid tiers carry a 7-day free trial and the same feature list: unlimited bundles, upsells and cross-sells, mix and match, volume-discount upsell, BOGO and Buy X Get Y, unlimited AI frequently-bought-together, product add-ons, 24/7 English support and the AI bundle image generator. The App Store states all charges are billed in USD and recur every 30 days.

The vendor's own pricing page adds a fifth tier the listing never shows: Enterprise at $299 a month or $2,988 a year, described as limitless monthly bundle revenue, with automatic bundle detection in the cart, Shopify POS integration, minor specialised customisations, priority onboarding with an account manager and a five-minute support target against Standard's thirty. That page also prices the annual commitments as effective monthly rates — $15, $39, $115 and $249 — under a “2-MONTHS FREE” label, and it is the only place the free plan is described in full: all six bundle types, 24/7 support, available to development stores and “eligible merchants”, and capped at $500 in bundle sales a month.

Its comparison table shows what the free tier gives up: volume discounts and product add-ons on selected products only rather than collections or the whole catalogue, no AI frequently-bought-together across all products, no multilingual translation, no subscription-app integration, and a “Powered by Fast Bundle” credit left on your storefront. Fast Bundle's own FAQ defines the metered revenue as sales through bundles, volume discounts, product add-ons, mix and match, Buy X Get Y, frequently bought together and other offers created with the app, and states that exceeding your plan's monthly bundle revenue limit means upgrading to keep campaigns running.

Developer Fast Bundle, listed at 13353 Commerce Parkway, Unit 2353, Richmond, BC, Canada; the app launched on 26 November 2020, the vendor's site claims 22,400 merchants, and the listing carried 3,031 reviews at a 5.0 average at the time of writing. The catch

On 17 July 2026 Fast Bundle detected what its own status page calls a security attack; Shopify removed the app from the App Store as a precaution and deactivated it on existing stores, so merchants found it simply gone. It was restored to limited visibility on 30 July and fully searchable again on 3 August, after Shopify reviewed an incident report and a third-party vulnerability and penetration test. The vendor states its investigation and testing found no indication that any customer, store or shopper data was accessed, exposed or leaked, and that 2,405 stores had reinstalled by early August.

Shopify's own words, quoted on that page, are that the app “has been restored to limited visibility”. Nobody outside the process can verify what was reached, and neither the vendor nor Shopify has published the technical detail. What is verifiable is the shape of the disruption: a storefront-facing app pulled without warning, deactivated on live stores, and roughly two weeks coming back. If your bundles carry your average order value, that is the risk you are underwriting — not because it is likely to recur, but because it has happened once and the app sits in the path to checkout.

The review record needs reading with that date in mind. 5.0 from 3,031 reviews is exceptional, and the breakdown is 3,000 at five stars against 19 at one. But most of that history predates July 2026, and Shopify app ratings skew high because merchants are prompted for them. What an average cannot tell you is how a vendor handles an incident, and on that the status page is the better evidence: dated, specific, quoting Shopify directly, and correcting its own earlier estimates in public.

That is a good sign about communication rather than about security. One practical hazard came out of the outage and has not gone away. While the app was delisted, other apps renamed themselves to include “Fast Bundle” — the vendor names Fast Bundle Offer, BOGO, BYOB; Sparrow Fast Bundle Upsell App; and Rabbit Fast Bundle & Upsell — and Shopify subsequently delisted three of them. Searching the App Store for the name is therefore not a reliable way to find this app.

Install from the listing slug, fast-bundle-product-bundles, and check that the developer reads Fast Bundle. Finally, the listing's data grant is broad even for this category: it edits customers and customer tags, products, inventory and collections, orders including third-party fulfilment and order edits, discount codes and promotions, Shopify Functions cart transforms, the checkout page and Online Store pages. Cart transforms are how a bundle becomes a single line item, so the scope is explicable, but an app with write access to your discounts and your checkout page belongs in your processing register and in whatever review you run after an incident like July's.

What Fast Bundle does

Shopify app that covers every bundle format from one place — fixed bundles, mix-and-match, build-your-own, BOGO, volume breaks and AI frequently-bought-together — on product pages, in the cart and in POS. Metered on the sales your bundles generate rather than on catalogue size: free under $500 a month, then $19, $49 and $139, with $299 for uncapped bundle revenue. Shopify pulled the app after a July 2026 security incident and relisted it on 30 July.

What buyers report about Fast Bundle

Recurring themes from the buyer-review sites listed at the foot of this page, read in August 2026. We have not run Fast Bundle ourselves, so this is other buyers' experience rather than ours. We summarise it here because the complaints are usually the part a vendor page leaves out.

What they praise
  • 3,030 reviews, and long-tenured ones among them: a US store three-plus years in (July 2026) credits the app with higher order value, and a store in India six months in (August 2026) with simpler management of a bundle catalogue that had got unwieldy.
  • Support is the single most-repeated subject, named to individuals — Ian, Sara, Olivia, Daisy, Sophie, Aysan, Tommy — and several merchants say custom bundle requests outside the standard formats were built or configured for them (UK, June 2026).
  • Merchants switching in from other bundling apps describe the setup as the easy part (US, nine days, August 2026; Greece, July 2026).
What they complain about
  • Exactly one merchant has described the July 2026 removal in public, and it is the review to read before anything else. Diaza Football (US, four months in; the review was first left in May 2026 and edited on 9 August 2026) says the app was pulled from the App Store with no notice to merchants, that they learned of it from customers who could not complete orders on a Friday evening, that they spent the weekend rebuilding their bundles on a competing app, and that they had paid the $299 tier days earlier. Their conclusion is a sentence: do not build your business on it.
  • The metered price is the second theme, and it bites the stores it is meant to reward. A UK store over a year in (edited June 2026) reports an unexpected $299 bill from the revenue meter plus a three-second cart delay they could not get resolved, while praising the support team separately. A UK store two months in (April 2026) and a Philippine store four months in (April 2025) both describe subscription charges they did not knowingly start, the UK one adding that cancelling runs through support and that lower tiers wait longer for a reply.
  • The free plan draws the install-day complaint: a US merchant an hour in (March 2025) says calling it free is misleading because the free tier is for approved development stores.
  • Two operational reports worth weighing against the average: a US store two months in (November 2025) says bundles did not show correctly in orders or analytics and that packing suffered for it, and a Lithuanian store one month in (November 2025) says the features they wanted all sat above their tier.

Where the ratings disagree. 3,000 of 3,030 reviews are five stars against 19 at one, but the distribution is not what to read here — the calendar is. Almost the whole record was written before 17 July 2026, when Shopify removed the app and deactivated it on live stores after the vendor reported a security incident. A five-star average accumulated over five years tells you the bundles convert and the support answers; it tells you nothing about how the vendor communicates during an incident, which is the only question that event raised, and exactly one merchant has answered it in public.

When the paid plan is worth it

The tiers are not a feature ladder, so ignore the feature columns and do one sum. Standard costs $19, $49 or $139 depending only on how much revenue your bundles produce. At the top of each band that is roughly 1.9%, 1.6% and 1.4% of the revenue being metered — and far worse at the bottom, because a store doing $200 of bundle sales pays the same $19 as a store doing $999.

The plan is cheapest exactly when it is working hardest. That makes the upgrade points sharp rather than gradual. Pass $1,000 of bundle-attributed sales and the bill goes from $19 to $49; pass $3,000 and it goes to $139. Watch the attributed-revenue figure the app reports rather than your own AOV numbers, because that is the one the invoice reads. The step to Enterprise is barely a choice. The Standard ladder stops at $10,000 a month, so past that point $299 is the plan left.

Beyond the removed cap it adds automatic bundle detection in the cart, Shopify POS integration, post-purchase order splitting and a five-minute support target. One of those decides the plan on day one: if you sell in person, POS support is Enterprise-only.

How to actually use Fast Bundle

Read fastbundle.co/updates-on-security-attack before you read the pricing page. It is dated, it quotes Shopify directly, and it is the only place the July 2026 delisting and reinstatement is documented. Decide there whether you are comfortable, because nothing later in the setup surfaces it. Then find your attributed-revenue number before you pick a tier. The meter counts sales the app's own offers generate, not your store total, which only running offers will tell you.

Start on the free plan if you qualify: $500 of bundle sales a month is enough to learn the ratio between bundle revenue and store revenue, and that ratio picks your tier. While you are there, check what the free plan puts on your storefront. The vendor's comparison table marks removal of the “Powered by Fast Bundle” credit as a paid feature, and free-tier volume discounts and add-ons work on selected products rather than collections.

And install from the slug rather than the search box. Copycat apps using this name appeared during the outage and Shopify has delisted three of them.

Frequently asked questions

What should I weigh before buying Growth & Revenue software?

It depends on whether you have the bottleneck it solves. Small teams get the most out of this category when one clear problem is already costing real hours or revenue; buying ahead of that just adds cost and another login. Price it against the hours or lost deals it removes, not against its feature list, and start on the smallest plan that covers the job.
