Three tiers, all billed in USD and recurring every 30 days. Forever Free costs nothing, Lite is $9.99 a month or $99.99 a year, and Pro is $25.99 a month or $259.99 a year; the annual price on both paid tiers saves 17%, and both carry a 7-day free trial. What you are buying is capability, not volume: there is no order cap, no revenue meter and no surcharge tied to your Shopify plan anywhere in the block.
Free covers product and order discounts with basic targeting and what the listing itself calls low support. Lite adds shipping and mix-and-match discounts, enhanced targeting and priority support. Pro unlocks every discount type, every targeting rule, active time periods and free shipping on a single rule. One detail in the plan table is worth reading twice, because it is unusual and it is in your favour: each tier gives unlimited discounts at its own level plus up to two at the level above.
On Free you can build two Lite-grade discounts, on Lite two Pro-grade ones. That is a working trial of the next tier rather than a locked door, and it means you can prove the rule you actually need before you pay for it. Plans change — always verify the live price on their site.

The app launched on 14 January 2025 and carries six reviews as of 4 September 2026 — all five stars, but six is not a track record, and the vendor, Neezon, is a small developer in Ho Chi Minh City rather than a company with a support contract behind it. The listing is unusually candid about what that means at the bottom of the ladder: the free plan's own feature list says low support.
Add to that what the app needs to do its job. The data-access panel says it reads customer data flagged as sensitive and can view and edit customers, products, discounts and the Online Store, which is the access any discount engine needs but is still broad. And because the ladder gates discount types rather than volume, the plan you land on is decided by the one rule you cannot live without: if the campaign you have in mind needs time-period scheduling or free shipping on a single rule, you are on Pro at $25.99 regardless of how few discounts you run.
Shopify discount engine for the rules the native one cannot express: capped and fixed-amount discounts that hold up across currencies, tiers by quantity, subtotal or weight, BXGY, gifts and mix-and-match, targeted by product, customer, cart, market, country or company. Free plan available; Lite $9.99 a month or $99.99 a year, Pro $25.99 or $259.99. Each tier includes two discounts at the level above. Launched January 2025, six reviews as of 4 Sep 2026.

The natural comparison is Shopify's own native discounts — the honest comparison is not another app but the discount engine already sitting in your admin. Shopify does percentage, fixed-amount, buy-X-get-Y and free-shipping discounts at no cost, and for most stores that is enough. Smarty Discounts starts earning its $9.99 or $25.99 at the point where you need a cap on the discount, a fixed amount that converts properly across markets, tiers built on weight or subtotal rather than quantity, or targeting by company or market — the rules the native engine cannot express at all.
Everything we publish about Smarty Discounts links back here — the review stays the honest hub:
The ex-banker filter — the same yardstick on every review (how we review): My ex-banker filter is simple: does Smarty Discounts remove a real cost — time, errors, missed revenue — bigger than what it charges? If the job above is genuinely yours, it's worth a look. We never publish fake or “exclusive” prices, so always confirm the current plan on their site.
Check your platform and version specifically. Shopify support is close to universal in this category, while WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Magento and headless setups vary a lot, and 'supported' sometimes means a generic API rather than a maintained app. A listing in your own platform's app store, with recent reviews there, is a better signal than the vendor's logo wall.
