By · Researched and written with an AI assistant · who does what

Pricing is credit-based and Ploy does not say how many credits a page, an edit or a Ploybook run costs, so the monthly bill is hard to predict in advance.

Best for

Skip it if

Ploy charges by plan and by credits. Credits are spent while Ploy is actively building or editing your site; the pricing page says a workspace that is just live and serving traffic uses next to nothing. Image generation, code generation, planning, visitor enrichment and Ploybooks all draw from the same credit balance. The Free tier costs $0, needs no card and includes 2,000 credits (the plan card says 500 credits a day, up to 2,000).

Starter costs $50 a month with 4,000 credits a month, 1 custom domain family and 50 enriched visitors a month. Pro costs $300 a month with 24,000 credits, 5 custom domain families, 1,000 enriched visitors a month and the HubSpot, Attio and ad integrations. Annual billing costs 20% less: Starter $480 a year ($40 a month) and Pro $2,880 a year ($240 a month).

Enterprise is custom priced and adds Salesforce, SSO, SOC 2, enterprise terms and done-for-you setup. Monthly plans can be changed at any time. Ploy does not publish how many credits a typical page or edit uses, so the real monthly cost depends on how much you build. Plans change — always verify the live price on their site.

Category context: Marketing. Across the 30 tools in this category that we researched with a public US-dollar price, the median entry price is $29 a month (lowest paid plan as listed, per seat where the vendor prices per seat). Ploy’s entry price of $50 a month sits above that median. Compare pricing conditions in the Software Cost Atlas →

The catch

The step from Starter at $50 to Pro at $300 is steep, and the HubSpot, Attio and ad integrations sit on Pro. A custom domain is not available on Free. Salesforce, SSO and SOC 2 are Enterprise only.

What Ploy does

AI marketing platform that rebuilds your website from its URL and keeps working on it: AI-built pages, SEO and AI-search fixes, visitor identification, outreach and ad agents in one workspace, with a free tier.

Ploy product
Ploy, from their own site — for context, not a paid placement.

Starter or Pro depends on integrations

The Free tier is enough to try a build, but a custom domain needs Starter. The jump from Starter ($50) to Pro ($300) is large: pay it only if you need the HubSpot, Attio or ad integrations, more than one domain family, or the larger credit allowance for a team that edits every day. Because credit use per build is not published, watch your balance during the first weeks before committing to an annual plan.

How to actually use Ploy

Go to ploy.ai and start on the Free tier; no card is needed. Paste the URL of your existing site: Ploy reads it, maps its pages and CMS content, and extracts your brand (structure, identity and design tokens). It then proposes a plan of what to rebuild and what to keep on your current host, and nothing changes until you approve it. Pages are rebuilt on your design system and CMS collections move into PloyDB, with URLs and SEO metadata kept.

You can switch one path at a time behind a fallback proxy, or move the whole domain at once. Connecting a custom domain needs Starter or higher.

Distilled from Ploy's own website: the homepage and the pricing page with its FAQ, read on 3 November 2026 (and checked against Codex research of 27 October 2026 that quoted the same prices). Ploy is an affiliate partner of ours. We have not used the software ourselves.

The catch
Everything is credits, and generating a site burns them fast — Wegic's own page notes a single generation can cost over $10 in credits, while the free plan gives 100 credits once.
Best for
non-technical founders who want an AI to build and host a simple site fast, and are comfortable with usage-based credit pricing

Both names above are affiliate links: we may earn a commission if you sign up, at no extra cost to you. Neither changes what this table says.

The natural comparison is Wegic — Wegic is in our dossiers as an AI website builder with credits too: on 19 October 2026 it gave 100 free credits at signup and Starter cost $39.90 a month, or $23.90 billed yearly, for 600 credits. Ploy starts at $50 a month but adds SEO, visitor identification, outreach and ads agents on top of the builder.

Yes, that is its main route in. You paste your URL, approve a migration plan, and Ploy rebuilds the pages and moves CMS content into PloyDB with URLs and SEO metadata kept. You can switch path by path or the whole domain at once.

Does Ploy train AI on my data?

Ploy says it does not use customer data to train AI models on any plan, including Free.

Which plan do I need for HubSpot?

Pro. Starter includes custom domains, Google integrations and GitHub Code Sync; HubSpot, Attio and ad integrations start on Pro, and Salesforce is Enterprise only.
