Read on iconosquare.com/pricing (now served at /plans-and-pricing) from a Netherlands connection, with both billing toggles. Free covers 2 social profiles, 1 user and 10 posts a month per profile, with one month of analytics history. Starter now carries a profile selector: €9 a month billed yearly (€11 month to month) for up to 3 profiles, or €15 (€18) for up to 5, with 1 user and 30 posts a month.

Launch is €33 billed yearly (€39 monthly) for 5 profiles, 1 user and 100 posts. Scale, badged Most popular, is the first tier with 3 users, unlimited posts, one group and two years of history, and it is priced by profile count: €69 billed yearly (€83 monthly) for 5 profiles, €119 (€143) for 10, €169 (€203) for 15 and €219 (€263) for 20.

Full pricing notes (2 more paragraphs)

Custom starts at €116 billed yearly or €139 month to month and covers 5 to unlimited profiles and 1 or unlimited users, with white-label reporting, API access and personalised onboarding. The page puts the yearly saving at €24 on 3-profile Starter (€36 on 5), €72 on Launch, €168 on 5-profile Scale and €276 on Custom. The ladder has been rebuilt twice since our 26 August reading over a US connection, which listed Launch $39, Scale $79 and an Excel tier at $139: by mid-September Excel had folded into Custom and Starter had appeared below Launch, and by 3 October Starter and Scale had each gained a profile selector, so Scale now reaches 20 profiles before Custom is needed.

The profile count is the dial that moves the price, so a quote taken at five says little about what a team managing twenty will pay.

Category context: Growth & Revenue. Across the 83 tools in this category that we researched with a public US-dollar price, the median entry price is about $30 a month (lowest paid plan as listed, per seat where the vendor prices per seat). Compare pricing conditions in the Software Cost Atlas →

Correction after re-checking: (2026-10-03) The ladder moved again after our September reading, so do not price Iconosquare off a single profile count. Starter and Scale now carry profile selectors: Starter is €9 a month billed yearly (€11 monthly) for 3 profiles or €15 (€18) for 5, and Scale is €69, €119, €169 or €219 billed yearly (€83, €143, €203, €263 monthly) for 5, 10, 15 or 20 profiles. That means Scale, not Custom, is now where a team managing more than five accounts lands. Launch is unchanged at €33 billed yearly (€39 monthly) for 5 profiles, and Custom now shows a monthly price as well: from €116 billed yearly or €139 month to month. Uma, the AI analyst, is on every paid plan, and the free trial is still 14 days.

What the price did

We capture Iconosquare’s own pricing page every month and keep the figures, so this is our record of the page — not a forecast, and not someone else’s summary.

Four dated readings, and the ladder has been rebuilt twice. On 5 August 2026 Launch and Scale read €33 and €69 billed yearly; on 26 August, over a US connection, the page listed Launch $39, Scale $79 and an Excel tier at $139. By 15 September Excel had folded into Custom (from €116 billed yearly) and a Starter tier had appeared at €9 for 3 profiles. On 3 October 2026 the base prices were the same, but Starter had gained a 5-profile option at €15 and Scale a selector running to 20 profiles at €219 billed yearly, with Custom also priced month to month at €139.

The catch

Analytics is where it shines — scheduling and community features exist but aren't always as deep as dedicated publishers. And the per-seat, per-profile tiering means agencies managing many brands climb toward the Custom plan quicker than the headline Starter price suggests: Starter and Launch carry one seat and five profiles at most, Scale three seats and up to 20 profiles at €219 billed yearly, and only Custom goes beyond that.

What Iconosquare does

Social analytics, reporting and competitor benchmarking, deepest on Instagram and the core networks. Tiers gate on seats and profiles, so agencies managing many brands climb faster than the entry price suggests.

What buyers report about Iconosquare

Hands-on: not tested by usReported by buyers: Capterra, GetApp, Trustpilot and TrustRadius, read August 2026

Themes from the buyer-review sites listed at the foot of this page, read in August 2026. We have not run Iconosquare ourselves, so this is other buyers' experience rather than ours. We summarise it here because the complaints are usually the part a vendor page leaves out.

What they praise
  • • The Instagram and Facebook analytics are genuinely excellent — about the best you can get without going enterprise, and that is what reviewers pay for.
  • • Annual billing removes the monthly admin, which smaller teams appreciate.
  • • Agencies on TrustRadius keep the tool for one job: client-facing reports that are comprehensive and good-looking enough to hand to people who are not social-media savvy, with competitor benchmarking dashboards alongside.
What they complain about
  • • Reviewers call it the most expensive option in its category, running 20-40% above competitors, and the per-user fee compounds as a team grows; in August 2026 they quoted $49-$79/month before add-ons. The ladder has since been rebuilt twice — see the price section for current rates.
  • • Scheduling failures are documented in reviews from 2024 through 2026 — for a publishing tool that is the thing to test first.
  • • Content creation is entirely manual and feature gaps send you to other tools anyway.
  • • Support is email-only during business hours, so a weekend problem waits. A February 2026 Trustpilot complaint documents six months of unresolved affiliate commission disputes despite promises of personal monitoring — worth knowing if you plan to promote them.
  • • Two analytics limits are named independently by different TrustRadius reviewers, and both matter for an analytics tool: Instagram organic and paid results are not cleanly separated, and the historical window for Instagram and TikTok is shorter than agencies expect.
  • • 'Quite pricey' is the summary from the same platform, matching what reviewers say everywhere else.

Where the ratings disagree. TrustRadius scores it far lower than Capterra or GetApp do, but its Iconosquare sample is small and dates from 2022, so it reflects an older product. What survives from it is the specific analytics gaps, which are still worth testing in the 14-day trial.

When the paid plan is worth it

The free plan gives you 1 user, 2 social profiles and 10 posts per month per profile, with one month of analytics history. Starter at €9 a month billed yearly is the cheapest paid step: 3 profiles (5 for €15), 30 posts a month, the Uma AI analyst and a full year of history. Launch at €33 billed yearly keeps 5 social profiles and raises posts to 100 a month and adds automated reports, one inbox for comments, DMs and mentions, and X (Twitter) publishing, so it pays for itself once 30 posts a month across your accounts stops being enough; five-profile Starter at €15 already covers the accounts.

Scale at €69 billed yearly for 5 profiles, rising to €219 for 20, adds 3 users, unlimited posts, one group, post approval workflows, campaign and paid-performance tracking, competitor and hashtag monitoring, and two years of history. Custom starts at €116 billed yearly (€139 monthly) and is the only tier past 20 profiles or 3 users, with white-label reporting, API access and a dedicated CSM. Upgrading from Starter to Launch buys posts and reporting, not accounts: both stop at 5 profiles.

As read on 3 October 2026, Scale is the tier that grows with your account count, at €69, €119, €169 and €219 billed yearly for 5, 10, 15 and 20 profiles, and only past 20 profiles or 3 users do you need Custom. Custom's €116 yearly floor sits below 10-profile Scale at €119, so ask for a Custom quote before paying for Scale above five. Upgrading also cannot recover data the networks never released.

Iconosquare states it can usually pull Reach and Impressions from up to two years before you add an Instagram Business profile, and that Stories are held in the Instagram API for only 24 hours, so no tier reconstructs historic Stories.

How to actually use Iconosquare

Sign up for the 14-day free trial, which needs no credit card, then connect one profile first. Connection is where people stall, and it is Meta's rules doing most of the work. Iconosquare's help centre is explicit that you need an Instagram business profile, that it must be linked to a Facebook page, and that you must be an Admin or Editor with full permissions on that page. When a profile is missing from the picker, the documented causes are a broken Instagram-to-Facebook link or missing admin status in Business Manager, and the documented fix is to remove and re-authorise Iconosquare's Facebook permissions rather than retrying the same dialog.

The second trap is history. Iconosquare documents that follower growth, engagement rate and best time to post are estimated for any period before you connected, and for any period the account was logged out or without an active plan. So connect every profile you care about on day one, even ones you will not schedule to yet, because accurate tracking starts at connection, not at purchase.

Distilled from Iconosquare pricing page and support knowledge base, read 5 August 2026. iconosquare.com/pricing (served at /plans-and-pricing) re-read 3 October 2026 from a Netherlands connection, served HTML plus a live render with both billing toggles: Starter selector 3/5 profiles (€9/€15 yearly, €11/€18 monthly), Scale selector 5/10/15/20 (€69/119/169/219 yearly, €83/143/203/263 monthly), Custom from €116 yearly / €139 monthly; iconosquare.com/llms.txt carries no prices.

Frequently asked questions

What does Iconosquare cost?

Read on 3 October 2026: Free is €0 for 2 social profiles; Starter €9 a month billed yearly (€11 monthly) for 3 profiles or €15 (€18) for 5; Launch €33 or €39 for 5; Scale €69 or €83 for 5 profiles, rising to €219 or €263 for 20; and Custom from €116 billed yearly or €139 monthly. Yearly billing is advertised as two months free. Watch the unit: the price moves with how many social profiles you manage, and seats move with the tier — one user on Starter and Launch, three on Scale.

Is there really a free plan?

There is a €0 tier, but not the way most free plans work: Iconosquare presents it as free access after your 14-day trial ends. It allows 2 social profiles, 1 user, 10 posts per month per profile and basic analytics with limited reporting, and it keeps only one month of history. Useful as a landing place, not as a working plan for a business.

What are the analytics limits people run into?

Two, and reviewers on TrustRadius name them independently of each other: Instagram organic and paid results are not cleanly separated, and the historical window for Instagram and TikTok is shorter than agencies want (data retention is one year on Starter and Launch, two years on Scale). If you report on paid campaigns, test that split before you commit.
